How long does it take to make a plan? Most estate plans can be completed in less than 30 days. The first step is scheduling an interview with me. During the initial interview we ask questions. I ask questions about your family, your personal values, and your plans for the future. Your answers will help me to formulate a plan that will meet all of your needs and your budget. The next step is collecting information. You will complete a questionnaire that provides a complete picture of your family and their specific needs. Next, I will study your answers and begin to prepare a plan to accomplish all of your goals and minimize your tax exposure. When I have finished a draft plan, I will provide you with a copy to review and answer any additional questions that you may have. After any necessary revisions have been made, I will complete the finished plan and teach you how to use the plan.
